Diary
of an Addict
Episode
Two:
My
brother and I arrived at our father’s house, full of expectations, excitement
and hope, without much-ado we enrolled into one of the finest secondary school
in ikorodu Axis to begin our Secondary education.
Months
passed, two years later, my mum died, she passed away after a brief illness. We
were young much younger to be without a mother. Being assured by our fathers
promises, we lived on. I may not tell you guys what we went through in his
house, that’s another story for tomorrow, 4 years after our mothers demise our
father joined her, he was shot by armed robbers when he ran into a robbery
scene. Too bad right?
Well
I don’t know if it was faith or what but our parents both died before we
completed our secondary school program, mum at JSSCE level and dad@ WASSCE
level I thought I was not going to survive it but, hey it’s 2015 and am still
alive.
The boy grew up my education halted when my
father died, my sister was in her 300 level in unilag there were no sponsors
anywhere not even my numerous relatives that came to line their pockets with
money from my father were in the picture again, too bad, so I had to make a
choice and I stared working at the age of 16 years at the office I was the
smallest working in the factory and I got paid 1325 naira every fortnight.
Though the money was never enough I had to get by,
This
is the beginning of a transition from an innocent innocuous boy to a shrewd
wayward and perverted man.
Fast
forward to my first victim: MARY
She was 17+ when we met, we attended church,
she would call me almost every day for brotherly advice and I welcomed her with
opened arms.
Pls
leave a comment at the end and tell your friends.
